Anderson Elite Performance was founded by Ryan Anderson in 2021. Ryan’s vision for AEP came during his collegiate playing and coaching career. The goal of AEP is to help athletes learn proper training methods, nutrition and recovery habits, and help them throughout their journey. 

We believe in consistent, quality training over time. There is no secret pill or magic exercise, the only way to progress is to show up and put in the work. This being said, training should not be dreaded, it is part of the process towards a larger goal and should be seen as such. Whether the goal is to compete at the highest level, or just look better on vacation at the beach, we can help you get there.  

AEP’s services include training for athletic performance in team sports, Olympic lifting, return to play post-injury, as well as general training. These can be done in a large group/team setting, small group, or on an individual basis. AEP also offers remote training using TrainHeroic to program workouts wherever you may need them.

Ryan Anderson
Ryan AndersonTrainer / CEO
Ryan Anderson is an Albuquerque native, he currently serves as owner and head trainer of Anderson Elite Performance along with acting as head trainer for GAS Athletics. Before founding AEP in 2021, Ryan served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant as well as interim head strength and conditioning coach at Eastern New Mexico University. Ryan worked with every sport team at ENMU: Football, Baseball, Softball, both Basketball & Soccer teams, Volleyball, and Track & Field. This came following a three year baseball career at ENMU where he attained both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Health & Physical Education and Sport Administration. Along with his degrees, Ryan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association and is a USA Weightlifting level 1 coach. With these, he specializes in athletic performance, power, speed, strength, and preparing athletes for the weight room and field at the next level. Ryan has been working with youth-high school athletes since his college career.
